About
HOME-BASED TREATMENT SERVICES
The Capital Region Children’s Center home-based psycho-educational program provides intensive treatment to troubled children and families where most behavioral and academic problems emerge - in the home. The program, which provides Comprehensive Child and Family Treatment is outcome and research driven.
Our home-based counselors, mentors, coaches, and tutors have small caseloads, allowing them to provide intensive support to the families they serve. While this is a strength-based approach, our staff attempt to address identified struggles that may affect or enable a child’s behavior or performance in a systematic fashion.
The program, launched in 2005, utilizes the combination of two models of therapy: the Multisystemic Therapy (MST) model and the Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) model.
